IPhone 8 Delayed Due To 3D Sensor Tech Issues

The phone is expected to launch with significant improvements over existing iPhones like new OLED display panels, wireless charging capability, a possible USB Type-C port and more. Despite the delays, there is some good news about the next flagship smartphone from Apple.

Apple is expected to follow the trend and also has agreed a deal with the display division of Samsung for its iPhone 8 160 million curved displays that are anticipated to launch this autumn. This isn't really news as such rumours had cropped up as early as previous year.

Said longtime Apple analyst Brian White as posted on MacRumors, "Our contact strongly believes the 5.8-inch iPhone 8 will be delayed by several weeks due to challenges around the 3D sensing technology, but still in time for the December holidays".

Finally, Apple could delay production, but announce the handset alongside the "iPhone 7s" series.

Axelrod: Trump's Susan Rice allegation 'beneath the dignity of that office'
Rice declined to comment through a spokeswoman: "I'm not going to dignify the President's ludicrous charge with a comment". The House Intelligence Committee's ranking Democrat, Adam Schiff of California, praised Nunes' recusal.

Apple-related news chains are filled with rumours on the premium iPhone 8 model costing in excess of $1000.

Regarding the price, the reports claiming the upcoming iPhone to be priced above $1000 was recently denied by a UBS analyst Steven Milunovich who claims that the base variant sporting 64GB of internal storage will be priced somewhere between $850 to $900 in the United States. The presence of the issue had been known for a considerable length of time, but Apple had declined to acknowledge the issue or offer any arrangement past its standard out-of-guarantee substitution benefit that comes with the warranty that comes with a brand new iPhone 6 Plus.

The much-awaited "iPhone 8's" release might be postponed. Seeing as how the majority of new reports appear to conflict on the design of iPhone 8, however, we can only wait and see at this point. Another option would be to move the Touch ID to the back of the iPhone, although that wouldn't be user friendly, Arcuri pointed out. But according to Apple insiders, the delay on the deliveries of the 5.8-inch model could reach several weeks.
