Mourinho makes you give 200 per cent - Ibrahimovic

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to rule out a return to Italy with Napoli for next season.

He signed a one-year contract with the 20-time English champions, containing the option of another year, and Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy has been the latest side linked to a lucrative move for Ibrahimovic's services.

Speaking exclusively to Omnisport, Neville was asked whether he would give Ibrahimovic a two-year deal and the former full-back responded: "I'd say yes".

"I think United needed personalities and characters after what happened in the previous few seasons".

Despite wanting the forward to stay, United are preparing for life without him.

"What I would say is, it will be impossible for him to play every single match in that period".

The LaLiga giants have been drawn with Serie A table leaders Juventus. It appears Juventus are also the victim of "refereeing conspiracies".

'There has to be a dip at some point.

Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits that he is extra motivated and gets adrenaline when facing former coach Pep Guardiola.

Ibrahimovic is, however, available to play against Rostov in the Europa League on Thursday.

United's top scorer this season has netted 26 goals and feels strongly that his performances merit an upgrade - especially as he arrived on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

He missed the 1-0 defeat by Chelsea in the FA Cup on Monday, and will be absent for United's next two Premier League games against Middlesbrough and West Brom.

"My family was very happy in Milan", he said. He needs to reproduce that standard he set last season. It was a talismanic display from a player who has always relished the limelight. He can have confidence knowing he will play. Maybe now, he has a chance to show what he is.
