Pavel Nedved: 'Juventus are capable of challenging Barcelona'

Barcelona was a comfortable 3-1 victor over Juventus in the 2015 Champions League final, but since then Barcelona has weakened and Juventus has improved. The LaLiga giants have been drawn with Serie A table leaders Juventus.

Before the 2015 final, the sides had met only twice before in the Champions League: Barcelona came out on top in 1985-86, while Juventus won in 2002-03 (both victorious teams went on to draw the final 0-0 and lose on penalties). What excites me most is Barcelona, they pulled off a great comeback and it'd be a big motivation to meet the team which beat us in the final two years ago.

The clash of the European juggernauts has got fans pretty excited. I believe that we've reached Barcelona's level this season.

It appears Juventus are also the victim of "refereeing conspiracies". The referee may not have been flawless but if a team is unable to protect a 4-0 lead perhaps the players should take the blame...

New York City paramedic killed after man steals ambulance, runs over her
A New York Fire Department (FDNY) paramedic has died after she was run over by a man driving her stolen ambulance. NY mayor Bill de Blasio said: "I want to thank those good Samaritans who helped apprehend the perpetrator".

"It doesn't matter where we play as we both matches will be hard".

Juve will welcome Barca to Turin for the first leg on Tuesday 11th April, and Nedved is not bothered about the prospect of concluding the tie at Camp Nou on April 19th.

Barcelona very almost crashed out of the tournament in the Round of 16 after a 4-0 first leg defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, but completed an incredible comeback to win 6-1 with the last kick of the game.
