Cahill scores late victor for Chelsea

Runaway Premier League leaders Chelsea continued their relentless progress, moving 13 points clear at the top of the table as Gary Cahill scored a late victor in a hard-earned and feisty 2-1 win at Stoke City on Saturday.

Yet they were made to wait just four more minutes for their goal: Jonathan Walters tempted Gary Cahill into a push in the penalty area before lashing in the spot-kick himself.

FW Diego Costa, 8 - Never too far away from the cut and thrust of Stoke's skulduggery, Costa spent the afternoon duelling with Ryan Shawcross, Bruno Martins Indi and Phil Bardsley.

It's hard to see anyone stopping Chelsea from winning the Premier League title this season.

Walters who once missed two penalties in a game against Chelsea shot high up into the net to draw the teams level. But Stoke have managed just two wins in 17 Premier League meetings between the two.

WRAL reporter Gina Benitez said that people were evacuating calmly and following the orders of emergency personnel. A church on the corner of Salisbury and Hillsborough streets offered to shelter anyone displaced by the fire.

Conte confirmed that he has his sights firmly set on a league and FA Cup double when he abandoned his policy of rotating his team and fielded a full-strength side in Monday's FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester United. The Italian Conte inherited a squad seemingly devoid of passion; a group of individuals that certainly looked uncomfortable on the pitch the previous season under Jose Mourinho.

"The great news is that Diego is showing to be a great player also in this aspect". The response was a yellow card and Conte sent Michy Batshuayi to warm up as an attempt to remind his striker to focus on testing Grant instead. They were made to work for their 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge at the end of a year ago and are likely to face a tough game in what is traditionally a hard place for away sides. Costa hits the post from a tight angle after being teed up by Pedro.

'We have given a good account against the champions elect'. Walters' goal evened things up after Willian had given Chelsea an early lead with a clever free-kick.

Stoke are the latest side that will try and stop Chelsea's march towards the Premier League title when the two sides clash on Saturday.
