NES classics return in The Disney Afternoon Collection

Now, Capcom will pay homage to those glory days with the release of The Disney Afternoon Collection for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Capcom announced The Disney Afternoon Collection today. As part of a trend we saw recently with the NES Classic Edition, there are also filter options that can recapture feel of playing the games as they were originally presented.

Most flights canceled out of Bradley Airport
Southwest alone had grounded more than 250 flights Monday at Chicago Midway, which is one of the carrier's busiest bases. The weather won't be warming up through the week so delays and cancellations could extend into early Wednesday.

DuckTales 2 - The sequel to the original game comes jam-packed with more action and an even bigger caper set in new locations like the Bermuda Triangle and Niagara Falls! Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, DuckTales 2, and Talespin will all be included in the retro compilation. These were once my jam, and they shall be my jam anew.

The game's "Museum Content" means history buffs can "enjoy a wealth of archival content to celebrate the era of the original releases such as concept art, advertisements, character art, and music". It's a great way to learn how to play these challenging games. There's also a "rewind" feature that lets you go back to avoid screw-ups for beginners, or folks who didn't grow up with retro platformers. Just like a racing game, you can rewind to quickly recover from a mistake...and hopefully not repeat it again. Their titles based around Disney Afternoon properties (DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck) are considered some of the best games for the NES, DuckTales especially. Also added is Time Attack, which will have the player try to beat levels as fast as they can, then compare their times to others' on an online leaderboard.
