TAG Heuer Smartwatch Android Wear 2.0 to be Unveiled on 14th March

If you're wondering what the new Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 looks like, you're not alone. If you decide you'd rather not have Android Wear 2.0 on your wrist for a day, the whole watch body can be swapped out with a special Calibre 5 movement from Tag.

To recap that idea, you'll be able to take your Connected Modular 45 smartwatch and turn it into a mechanical watch with the click or two of a button, along with the lugs, strap, and buckle.

For the choice of strap alone, Tag Heuer offers 18 modes available including models made of rubber, natural leather, titanium, ceramic or anthracite grey leather.

A couple of weeks back, Tag Heuer confirmed that it will be launching a successor to its Tag Heuer Connected Android Wear smartwatch this year. There is a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 2.5 sapphire cover glass and a durable titanium case. It packs an Intel Atom Z34XX SoC, 4GB of storage, a 410mAh battery, and 512MB of RAM.

The watches are available from Tag Heuer boutiques, a selection of retailers and from the brand's website, and are on sale from US$1,650.

When we talk in the past about the squad, look now: now we need to see how they are important. Son can never be sure of a starting spot but he has netted 13 goals this season.

The watch has a unique display and adapts to your schedule, and if you're behind, it'll still remind you when you're on your way, even if that's 15 minutes later than originally planned. The rumors turned out to be true, as Tag Heuer teased that the smartwatch will be announced on that date.

But you're not just getting a Swiss-engineered smartwatch with the Modular 45-you're getting an ecosystem. Connectivity comes in the form of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and near-field communication capabilities. They're following up that success with a new watch that's still very premium, but also offers customization options that we've never seen from an Android Wear device before.

The Google Assistant solves one of the biggest problem faced by smartwatch users by bringing a much quicker way to write or respond to messages via dictation.

Incidentally, the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Watch is now listed on the company website. Nonetheless, the ability to dump the digital half if you find it's not to your taste, yet still keep some watch functionality, is a welcome improvement. But TAG Heuer is looking to change all that with the Connected Modular 45. It works with the standard Android Wear app as well as TAG Heuer's own Connected app, which will feature an exclusive time management tool that incorporates AI smarts into your schedule.
