Trump's Approval Rating Remains Steady Despite Accusations Of Russian Ties

From repealing and replacing Obamacare to reducing immigration, voters said they believe Trump will get the job done, a Morning Consult/Politico poll released Wednesday indicated.

Trump, who was still chasing the Republican nomination at the time, called for "an easing of tensions and improved relations with Russia" during his speech, according to the Wall Street Journal. If we can't make a deal under my administration, a deal that's great - not good, great - for America, but also good for Russian Federation, then we will quickly walk from the table.

Trump has been unable to move on from his administration's ties to Russia after US intelligence agencies concluded the Russian government had interfered in the USA election to help Trump defeat Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Whenever any of those meetings were reported on, Trump's tweets railed about a lying, failing press. "I have nothing to do with Russian Federation".

Though the Trump campaign initially denied that Carter Page was an influential part of their team, Corey Lewandowski, Trump's then-campaign manager, allowed Page to visit the country to give a speech, Politico reported, though wouldn't allow him to go in an official capacity.

The FBI has also been investigating ties between Russian Federation and Trump advisers and associates during the campaign.

More recently, Attorney-General Jeff Sessions has come under fire for telling his Senate confirmation hearing that he "didn't have-did not have communications with the Russians".

It seems only fitting that he would bring people on his team who share his views and have the connections to help carry out his goal of bettering the nation's relationship with Russian Federation.

Hunter Harrison in, Michael Ward out as CSX CEO
Edward Kelly, the company's lead independent director on the board, will replace Michael Ward as chairman, the people said. Harrison in his separation from Canadian Pacific Railway Limited, "on terms that would permit him to work at CSX ".

This brings me to something truly extraordinary: an attorney general, just weeks out of office, posted a video calling for "marching", "blood", and "death".

"I spoke to Putin twice".

I'm assuming here that Trump can tell the difference between real facts and the ones he makes up.

Over the last few days, media outlets around the world have asked one question: who exactly is Sergey Kislyak?

"The big point here is the president himself knows what his involvement was, and that's zero", Huckabee Sanders said on March 3.

Since the report blew up last week, Sessions has recused himself from any investigation involving the Russians hacking into the 2016 presidential election.

That same poll - which survey an estimated 1,025 of adults by telephone - found that 55 percent of voters are concerned that the Trump campaign had contact with suspected Russian operatives. In February, Michael Flynn resigned as national security adviser after it was revealed that he misled Vice President Mike Pence about the nature of his contact with Kislyak.

While the story about Trump meeting the Russian ambassador was months old, it happened to recirculate on the same day that headlines were dominated by WikiLeaks releasing thousands of pages of documents purporting to show that the Central Intelligence Agency can hack any iPhone and Android user in the world.
