If Kirk Cousins stays put, 49ers interested in Mike Glennon

For his career, Glennon has completed 374 of 630 passes (59.4 percent), for 4,100 yards, with 30 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

Glennon wasn't good enough to start for the Buccaneers, but several teams appear willing to make him huge offers.

Chicago is Free agent quarterback Mike Glennon's preferred destination is with the Chicago Bears, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Glennon's best year in Tampa Bay came in 2013 when he passed for 2,608 yards with 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Five extended-range SCUD missiles were involved in the launch, but one of them failed while the other four landed in the sea. North Korea Monday fired four ballistic missiles into waters off its east coast, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said.

The Bears have made some big strides on defense, as they've improved their front seven dramatically over the last few seasons, but their secondary remains a big question mark, and they have at least one player on their radar to help that beleaguered group. Still, the two have relatively similar numbers in the games that they have started, and Osweiler cashed in last offseason with a four-year deal worth an average of $18 million per season.

It's unclear if this will impact Glennon's market, which was previously set between $14 and $15 million per year. The year before, he started 13 games as a rookie, tossing for almost 2,500 yards, while throwing 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

The 27-year-old Glennon has been a backup for the past two seasons after the Buccaneers drafted quarterback Jameis Winston in 2015 and turned the reins over to him.
