Jon Stewart's Message to the Media Is Something Everyone Needs to Hear

Jon Stewart's Message to the Media Is Something Everyone Needs to Hear

"You know what I say? He's not even old enough to vote.' But let me tell you something, when you have a president who thinks global warming is a hoax, he doesn't know if he'll ever get the chance to vote in the future, so that kid is like: 'I'm gonna do my shit now, '" he said. "Because, let's face facts, you kind of let yourself go a little bit for these past few years".

When Colbert asked Stewart what he thought about White House press secretary Sean Spicer excluding outlets like CNN, The New York Times, and Politico from an informal press briefing on Friday, Stewart was entirely unsympathetic.

Jon Stewart showed up - from under the desk - on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" Monday night, going after both President Donald Trump and the media in near-equal measure, and it was just fantastic.

With trademark intensity, the comedian went on to criticise the media's obsession with Trump, levelling his rage at one of his other consistent targets, CNN.

"This break-up with Donald Trump has given you, the media, an awesome opportunity for self-reflection and improvement".

"Put on a few pundits".

Banksy's New Bethlehem Project Is More Than Just A Hotel
The Walled Off Hotel will begin taking reservations on March 11 and plans to remain open for the full centenary year. The Walled Off Hotel is an entirely independent leisure facility set up and financed by Banksy .

"Hey, media. So I heard Donald Trump broke up with you". 'What's Donny up to?

"Just like the Statue of Liberty says, "Give us your exhausted, your poor, but not so poor they can't afford a two bedroom apartment", Colbert snarked. "And the whole time you're chasing after Donny, the rest of us are thinking, 'Can't you see he's an asshole?'".

Anxious that the mainstream media's breakup with President Trump has reporters feeling blue, Jon Stewart stops by with relationship advice.

"This whole thing just makes me insane!" he said about the current state of USA politics. Self-improvement! Take up a hobby. Despite the exceptional work by John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, Samantha Bee, and Seth Meyers, no one in late night has filled this specific niche in Stewart's absence.

He then took aim at the viral picture of Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway sitting in the Oval Office in a unusual, overly comfortable manner, shoes on the sofa.
