White House Will Resume Tours on March 7

The produce harvested from the garden, from lettuce, to radish, to broccoli, has found its way not only to events at the White House, but also to local soup kitchens.

The tours had been temporarily suspended during the change in government and the beginning weeks of President Donald Trump's administration.

After pressure from lawmakers, First Lady Melania Trump announced Tuesday the White House will reopen to the public in early March, almost seven weeks after her husband Donald became president.

"The White House is a remarkable and historic site and we are excited to share its beauty and history", Mrs. Trump said in her statement.

South Korea´s national news agency Yonhap quoted a Seoul government source as saying Kim Jong-Nam was killed on Monday. Fadzil said an ambulance picked up Jong-Nam from the airport. "Loyalists may have wanted to get rid of him", he said.

It appears 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue will finally open its doors to the public almost two months after President Donald Trump entered the White House. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) griped on Twitter earlier this week.

Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama all appointed a director to the White House Visitors Office before being sworn in, according to a letter signed by at least two dozen lawmakers. The visits include self-guided tours from 7:30 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. ET Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. ET Fridays and Saturdays.

The first lady and the Trumps' 10-year-old son Barron are expected to leave New York City and move into the White House at the end of the school year. A limited number of spaces are available and tickets must be requested through a member of Congress, usually one's personal congressional representative. Phones and compact still cameras with a lens no longer than 3 inches are allowed.
