'Hot mugshot felon' features in his first fashion show

The first daughter was spotted sitting front-row at the Philipp Plein show Monday night - her first official appearance since her father Donald Trump took office - but apparently her presence wasn't all that welcomed.

Yeah, him. His real name is Jeremy Meeks, and in 2014, many of you lost your minds (and your drawls) when his mugshot went viral. And that doesn't include the high-profile folks who would eventually (more than an hour after the scheduled start time) hit the runway on Plein's behalf. Meeks is married with three children and resides in California.

As reported by the New York Times , Ortega's lawyer backed her claim and pointed to what he views as inconsistencies in the law. Sam Jordan, a spokeswoman for Wilson, said the decision to prosecute had "absolutely nothing" to do with immigration.

This is no flash in the pan for Jeremy, with a recent Instagram snap alongside leading stylist Carine, worldwide fashion director-at-large for Harper's Bazaar, suggesting more to come. Models Sofia Richie and Anwar Hadid also walked in the show! The heavy metal, rock and roll vibe assaulted your senses like an AC/DC chorus but by the last exit it was hard to remember the tune.

Hosted at New York's landmark Public Library, the model was joined by American rappers Young Thug, Desiigner and Fetty Wap for a collection that featured people dressed as Statues of Liberty, Elvis impersonators and Times Square's famous naked cowboy. "Even my girlfriend is here and she didn't have a seat. Come thru", she wrote. "It's all about having fun".
