Lady Gaga Crowd Surfs & Metallica's Mic Goes Out During Fiery Grammys Duet

Metallica's much-hyped Grammy Awards performance with Lady Gaga on Sunday night was timed to prime fans for a series of stadium shows this summer by the metal act.

Luckily they were able to recover for the rest of their performance of Moth Into The Flame, although it definitely wasn't our fave.

Despite this, the band put on a spirited performance, with a crowd-surfing Gaga throwing herself into the show.

Hours before the Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga teased her millions of fans on Instagram about her appearance at the awards show.

Ch-ch-check out their performance (above)!

Twitter reacts as Mark Warburton leaves Rangers in freakish fashion
Rangers released a statement saying Mark Warburton had resigned as manager but he has reportedly denied that is the case. Rangers' Under-20s coach Graeme Murty is expected to take charge of the team on in interim basis.

At first, Metallica lead singer James Hetfield's microphone wasn't working, and eventually he ventured over to share a mic with Gaga.

After blowing everyone's mind up with her Super Bowl halftime performance, Lady GaGa was gearing up for her 59th Annual Grammy Awards performance.

"I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too".

This is truly surprising because in all the years I've seen Metallica, the band always perform without problems. Gaga and the rest of the band did an awesome job to keep the performance alive, while Hetfield would eventually give up and share a mic with Gaga for much of the performance. Lady Gaga may have just gotten a massive back tattoo. I was greatly disappointed when they cut their hair in the mid-1990s and became even more polished and accessible with Load and Reload. "Now this doesn't mean they should do an album with Gaga, though given Lulu's history, I wouldn't be surprised if (drummer) Lars (Ulrich) was considering it".
